Delivery

We deliver in North Hykeham, Lincoln, and surrounding villages. As an Interflora member we can arrange deliveries almost anywhere else world-wide.

All of our local deliveries are sent out in sign written van or 4by4 , and all drivers wear a uniform identifying them as a member of staff (except in circumstances when a hire vehicle or taxi have been used to make a delivery).

Although we do not guarantee timed deliveries we can specify morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) when possible for a small extra charge when ordering by telephone. As we have a full-time driver we can usually oblige in deliveries before or after a set time and wherever possible we can do emergency deliveries. We accept local deliveries for the same day if orders are placed before 4.30pm that day. No other local florist can offer that service.

Recipient not home

If we make a delivery and the person is not home we try and leave the flowers with a neighbour or in a safe place at their home (e.g. shed, garage, covered porch) and leave a calling card through the front door. On the rare occasion we cannot leave the flowers they will be returned to the shop. A calling card will be left telling the person to contact the shop. We will then make a further arrangement with the recipient. Depending how far away the delivery is we might be able to redeliver at our convenience; or the recipient/customer will be asked to collect their gift from our shop.

If you have any preference before a delivery is attempted please instruct us at time of order. We will not be held responsible if we have had to leave flowers at an address and it turns out to have been supplied incorrectly by the customer or if the recipient has gone away on holiday and the flowers have been left. It is considered the responsibility of the customer to supply correct address information and check the person is going to be in on the day of delivery.
